The Lisbon and Tagus Valley Regional Coordination and Development Commission, I.P. (CCDR LVT) will participate, on 2 October, in an online meeting promoted by the Innovation Working Group of the CPMR Atlantic Arc Commission, dedicated to strengthening cooperation between innovation stakeholders across the Atlantic area.
The session, entitled “Pop-Up Meeting for Innovation Makers”, will take place from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. (mainland Portugal time) and aims to bring together companies, research centres, universities, public authorities, European projects, clusters, associations and other actors from innovation ecosystems, fostering new connections and giving greater visibility to solutions developed across Atlantic territories.
The meeting is part of the Innovation Made in Atlantic (IMA) initiative, which seeks to consolidate an Atlantic-wide innovation community by strengthening connections between projects, organisations and regions, while encouraging new cooperation opportunities.
The programme will include contributions from representatives of the European Commission, the Basque Government and CCDR LVT. The meeting will have a strong participatory component, including an opportunity for participants to share their contributions and an open discussion on how to increase the transformative impact of innovation across territories, identify flagship cooperation projects in the Atlantic area, and explore how regional organisations can better support innovation stakeholders.
The Atlantic Arc Commission invites all interested stakeholders to register and take part in this meeting, contributing directly to the development of a stronger, more collaborative and territorially connected Atlantic innovation community. The session will provide an opportunity to discover new initiatives, exchange ideas, identify potential partners and keep up to date with future cooperation opportunities across the Atlantic area.
Participation is free of charge, subject to prior registration.
